My Story

Meet Peg, a first-generation Haitian American who grew up in the inner city, facing the struggles and obstacles that come with living in an underprivileged community. Despite the odds stacked against him, Peg was determined to make something of himself, not just for his own sake, but for the sake of his family.

Growing up, Peg’s parents instilled in him the values of hard work, perseverance, and determination. He watched as they worked tirelessly to make ends meet, often holding down multiple jobs to support their family. These lessons stuck with Peg, and he knew that he had to work just as hard to achieve his dreams.

After graduating high school, Peg enrolled in a local community college, where he studied business and entrepreneurship. He worked multiple jobs to pay for his education and support his family, often studying late into the night after long days at work. Despite the challenges, Peg’s hard work paid off, and he graduated with top honors.

With his degree in hand, Peg set out to start his own business. He knew that he had the knowledge, skills, and determination to succeed, even in the face of adversity. His first venture was a small logistics company, which he operated with his children. Through hard work and dedication, the business grew, and Peg was able to expand his operations, eventually owning multiple logistics companies throughout the city.

Along the way, Peg never lost sight of what was most important to him – his family. He raised his children, instilling in them the same values of hard work, perseverance, and determination that had guided him throughout his life. Despite the demands of his business, Peg always made time for his family, attending their school events, sports games, and recitals.

Today, Peg is a successful business owner, community leader, and an inspiration to others with his story of perseverance and hard work, proving that with determination and a willingness to overcome obstacles, anyone can achieve their dreams.
